find another job

Yesterday was the deadline for my personal challenge of this goal, and it was yesterday that I had an interview that seems VERY promising! If I get it I will be starting on April the 14th! Less than 2 weeks away! I’m so EXCITED!!!

Ok it’s getting down to the wire here, only 4 days left! Where did the time go? Oh and by the way…Still NO NEW JOB! ::SIGH::

It’s days like this that I really loathe my job! Update later….

Time is dwindling down on this personal challenge! I guess I need to step it up a notch!

Well, for some reason, I just don’t think the interview went all that well this morning. I met with the actual dentist and he did the interviewing. Everything seemed to be going well, when I realize that there were several very awkward silent pauses in conversation and he seemed to just stare at me. I don’t know what it is, but I just have a feeling that I’m not gonna get this particular job. LOL

I don’t know why, but this morning I had a total melt down at the office. I started crying and I put in my 2 week notice (without a job line up) My office manager (which happens to be my aunt) Is trying to convince me to stay until I find another job. But, I’m not convinced that I actually should stay. At my current job, the stress level is so high (amonst co-workers) that my blood pressure has sky rocketed…and I fully believe that NO job is worth risking my health over. on a more positive note…I have another interview at 8:15 tomorrow morning. This time it’s a dentist office. I guess all the resume faxing is starting to pay off! :o)

Well, it’s Wednesday and I haven’t heard any news regarding last Friday’s interview.

Well, the job interview went rather good. I went in and met the staff, which were all very nice. Filled out a questionare and met with the actual doctor himself. He was a very friendly & professional man. I actually was impressed. There are no benefits at the job, which is what I was looking for since my current job doesn’t offer any either. But if they offer me approximately the same pay as I’m receiving now, I’ll probably take it. Just for the fact that they will train me and I’ll get the experience I need to get my foot in the door at other places. (ie: hospital) I should know something by this coming Friday!

My first interview in a few months…I’m really nervous! Hoping everything goes well and I land the job! Wish me luck….

I have an interview with a local doctor’s office tomorrow at 3 o’clock. Hopefully all will go well and I land this one.
