start a magazine

omg i’m so anxious, i can barely sleep! so, i’m just gonna change the schedule a little bit, since the magazine can’t be launched at the same day as the site.

new plan:
week 3 – finish the wireframes, layouts and start setting up the site
week 4 – finish setting up the site, make the invitations and start setting up our social media accounts

and there’s still a lot of things to do. god, i wish it was easier. but i think starting is never easy. ok, we have 2 weeks and next week we have 2 holidays, so there’s plenty of time (i hope) to finish everything.

the new plan:
week 3 – finish setting up the website and start the magazine layouts
week 4 – finish all the layouts and start testing the website posting system

so, it’s official now, we’re gonna launch it by may 1th. there’s still a lot of work to do. we had to take some steps back because some of our collaborators dropped the project and it was awful. but the good thing is that we had time to rethink, redesign it, make a new marketing plan and now it’s way better than it would be and we can’t wait to see it online. it’s a dream coming true. but there’s a lot of work ahead.

a little plan:

week 1 – define the layout and start making it
week 2 – finish the website and start testing it
week 3 – make the more complex layouts and cover
week 4 – make the website background and start the beta version

texts done. website almost finished. we just need to finish the magazine layout.

the website layout is done, we just need to finish the development of the site. the texts are a bit late but i think more than 50% is already done. now we must focus on the magazine layout. we have 2 weeks.

the website is not finished yet so we’re postponing some deadlines. but it’s coming, it’s gonna be a beautiful project.

the editorial project is the next to come.

if i didn’t have a regular job besides this personal project it would be ok. but i have no life right now because of this magazine. it’s killing me. i hope it’s gonna worth all this effort.

now we’re planning the sections. this is going to be great.

i’ve already set a team, everybody is really excited. we’re planning out the section for the blog and the magazine. the logo is done and the visual identity guideline almost complete.
