Just want to get published. Is that so much to ask for?
... I bet it is.
I’ve sent poetry into places like… American Poetry and Poetry. com… Of which they had sent back, saying it was good enough to be published in their books with a collection of like… Hundreds of other poems. AND the book is like $60. I got suspicious. Ugh. I don’t want my things to be published with hundreds of other things like it, you know? I want it to JUMP OUT and just be… SEEN and everthing else. So—those certain publishing places… I’d try to avoid them.
I just want my writings to… be… Shrug Seen. Read. There.
