In Plato’s accounts of Atlantis he said that they had vehicles that could travel through the air made of elephant skin. Sometime during the 20th century a fishing trawler scraped up dozens of wooly mammoth bones out of the middle of the atlantic ocean. The mammoth went extinct sometime around 10000BCE, the same time Atlantis was said to have dissappeared off the face of the earth. Pretty neat. I dont think its a question of whether or not it existed, i think its more a question of who wants to go dig around in the dirt and find some shit. Ask any geologist 10,000BC was a very hectic time, volcanic activity, tidle waves, earthquakes, meteor strikes hitting south carolina…lots of stuff, enough to sink a continent? Must’ve been…
