Yesterday I practiced in a city parking lot in the wee hours of the morning while only slightly drunk. Today I practiced in the park while very, very tired. Gettin’ better! Now I can ride a few feet without actually supporting myself on anything, but I still feel like I need the option to support myself. Still it’s a big improvement.

At my juggling club, one guy brought his unicycle, (a Semcycle,) and we practiced that for a while. He’s tall like me, so he had the seatpost adjusted pretty high, and WOW what a difference that made! I now know that I need to get a longer seatpost on my old Schwinn uni.
We practiced in the street hockey arena at the park (I assume that’s what it was, anyway,) and that also helped, because the surface was very smooth, even more so then a Santa Fe sidewalk or a tennis court. I feel like I’m a lot closer then I thought I was. Awesome!
