Yes, it’s worth it even though I questioned my sanity when I thought to give it up. In the end it’s definitely worth it if you are like me in that I can let the desire (feels like a need) for chocolate take over and when I’m in a bad mood it’s my comfort. It helped to break that habit for a set period of time. By the end of Lent I could have chocolate again but it couldn’t have me.
