sing in a band

so i’m not in a band. I’m really okay with that. I AM in musical theatre, where I DID have to face my fear. Auditions. Me. On stage. Singing. Solo.

And they didn’t hate it! I was expecting pity claps, but people are still coming up to me saying how good it was. I can’t verify this of course, because I couldn’t hear myself over my heart beating so freaking loudly. I’m glad I did it though. And I made chorus!

I still love singing. I still am too afraid to do it infront of anyone. I really don’t know what the deal is, because I’m not afraid to be on stage for theatre at all, but ask me to sing, and the thought is terrifying… I dunno, maybe just because i’m afraid of everyone hating my voice and then losing the fun of singing anyways.
