more purging
i just did a big craft purge recently and will be sending all the craft stuff to an online friend who wants it and will probably have use for it. and its just been sitting around forever going unused.
i also cleaned out a bunch of papers, and books. i will be getting rid of the books very soon as well.
i also have another huge box i am getting ready to either send to another friend or take to her next time i am in her area.

so i just bought the book “Its all too much” by Peter Walsh, and have started putting it to use already. Step on is to do a kick start. and get rid of all the trash, other peoples stuff, and anything i haven’t use in a year out of my living space. by either scheduling a day or weekend or how ever much time or blocks of time on different days(whatever works for you). so I’ve started with anything that is trash or i haven’t used. i don’t think i have anything that doesn’t belong to me(already got rid of it). so far I’ve taken out about 5 bags of trash and a bunch of card board and i am still working on it. I’ve continued reading the book and i am eager for step to, but i want to finish step on first and i don’t know exactly how long thats going to take since i work and go to school but i am going to keep doing it till i get it done.

i also managed to get it for like 6$ in the bargain books at Barns and noble which made it all the sweeter.
here is a preview of the book

just made another trip to goodwill recently, and then decided to sort through some more stuff. got three grocery bags full of books, and another bag of clothes, and a box of clothes and misc stuff, all ready to go to the goodwill. my boyfriend insists on keeping pillows we don’t need and don’t have a place for, those will probably go to goodwill as well.
all this enabled me to make my closet more organized. i have a really small closet so i gave been working to make all my things fit in there comfortably which means i have had to get rid of more and more.
i basically just have to keep resorting the same crap over and over again and each time i find more that i though i needed, thought i wanted to keep but really i don’t need it and i don’t want to keep it so it goes to goodwill.
i downsized my bike from a mans bike that was to big to a small light folding bike that saves space and will make getting exercise a lot easier and will also save me on some gas money this summer.
this website also got me motivated which i cam across on unclutterer.com

so far since moving i have made three trips to the goodwill and working on the fourth. i have a box of stuff to ship to a friend, and another box of stuff for goodwill, and a bag of books for goodwill. and another box of stuff that is my boyfriends that needs to be sorted before i take to goodwill b/c i think there is some junk in there also. he’s selling my bike for me and i am getting a folding one that will make life in my apartment easier b/c the full size mens bike i have is way to big for the apartment and myself. also another box full of his old toys that he isn’t selling, i am taking to work to give to a coworker for her grandson. just need to get more out of my tiny closet so it doesn’t look so cluttered and to full.
the process has slowed down since i started college

i bought a wonder Wash. its a small portable washing machine that doesn’t use any electricity. it just uses pressure to force the detergent into the clothes and clean them. i love it. and because of it i will no longer have to waste gas and time going to the laundry mat. plus i am going to be getting rid of more of my clothes b/c i can wash them more often now and won’t have to wear something just b/c something else isn’t clean and i either don’t feel like going to the laundry mat or don’t have time.

so i finished emptying all my clothes from the dresser in my room, now i just have to find a place for my bf’s clothes that he keeps here. one less piece of furniture. don’t know why anyone needs a dresser if they have a closet anyway.
