Gauchos? 3 years ago

So, when I was home in the States, after trying on about 30 pairs of capris/crop pants that looked ridiculous on me (I’m too short in the rise and the legs) she talked me into buying gauchos. I have two pairs of knit gauchos. I saw everyone in the States wearing them, but do I stand out like an American too much here in Europe? They’re pretty comfy, though.
