Nagano Winter Games in 1998

I was working for Time Inc. and we were one of the top sponsors. I saw the men’s figure-skating finals, the 1,000m men’s speedskating, the ice hockey match-up between the USA and Belarus (the only game we won), and the closing ceremony. I’d urge everyone to try to attend at least one Olympics. Although the events are competitive, the spirit of brotherhood, goodwill and peace is contagious.
