but done for now. a bunch of different tomatoes are in and blooming, some peppers are in. arugula is out of control as usual. cilantro seems to be coming up in a promising way. sunflowers are sturdy and starting to develop big fat heads. and now i’ve left town for a couple of weeks and the whole thing in the hands of T. have to remember to let him know that if anything dies, not to sweat it – it will grow again!

and I’m sure my guests are going to demand to see the garden (since I was so smug about it all fall). Sometimes, it’s good to leverage a little external accountability. Spent time last weekend clearing away withered bits. Tommorrow: finish up and put stuff in the ground.
from the fall have gone to seed. some mint has died from neglect (I know, this is nearly impossible).
Time to pull some old stuff out, so the new can go in.
