design a database

funded to take Access training… excitement about the possibility of a database is building…

are taking an access class. i’m frankly unsure whether this will motivate or deter me from actually designing.

I don’t think Access can hurt me though. Can it?

there’s a certain kind of database design personality that I’m coming to recognize. not sure if it’s me or not, yet. a coworker’s wife came by to show us a database she’d programmed to help manage some info at her job and she’s definitely got it.

for a very similar purpose yesterday. It was a little inspiring (yes, without formal training, this is possible). But also made me think – gee maybe I should just hire this person to do this for me?

I think the strategy should be – set a date by which if I don’t manage it, I hire someone. And that date is: August 15.
