change careers

It’s not a new career, but I may get to have a new job. A company near my home (as in across the highway) will interview me, probably this week. I will no longer have to commute to work. This will go a long way toward some peace and satisfaction.

I have a friend who has become a head-hunter. So maybe he can find a job for me nearer to my house, which could enable a lot of things. He’s trying. And I appreciate that.

I am supporting two children, how do I change careers and keep feeding them? One hope is to go into photography. That would be a satisfying career and I could do it on the side (maybe; can you really make money on the side with photography?) And then when my kids are grown and out of the house I could quit my current career and just take pictures for a living.

It could happen.
