I am using Outlook for my recycling reminder although there are some disadvantages to this method. I think that email reminders seem to work better. The library reminders are totally changing my life!
The elf website seems to work! I have six items due on Tuesday. Cool! I also got reminders from Outlook to pay my bills today. Feeling very organized for a brief moment. :)
Now this is cool! I waste so much money each year on library fines and now I find libraryelf.com—a site that is LINKED IN to my public library. So now it will send me reminders when books are coming due and overdue notices every day if I want them. How neat is that?
The power of computers to remember things is so underrated. When you combine that with the fact that they will (mostly) do what you tell them to, it becomes awesome!
I don’t know if this goal will be acheived through using Outlook or a web-based service or writing my own system but I am convinced that this will make me into a superstar!
