Slowly but surely. Saving for a spring break trip separately so most of my “extra” cash will be going there. I should be able to contribute more in April.

finally added in that $1000 check. the rest should be a little more difficult….need to buy a car too so this may take a while.

this kinda goes with two goals: finding my passion and making money with it!

i graduated with a bachelor’s in elem. ed. and really didn’t have the best experience student teaching, so i def had second thoughts about the whole teacher thing.

anywho, i put out a few flyers about doing one-on-one tutoring and had my first session today. I was super nervous, esp after spending a yr not working with kids at all. it turned out fabulous and i’m actually looking forward to seeing her progress!!

hoping i don’t get burned out and will be able to give her some confidence and strategies so she can read independently!

oh, and i got that check for about $1000 that’ll go into the fund.

so that’s a little over $1200.

i helped my aunt with her midterm paper and she gave me $10 for my time. funny, thing too…it was about financial management, so i learned a bit in the process.

total: $180

I closed an online account and should have a check coming for a little over $1000. So, that’ll jumpstart this whole process! :)
