Honestly, I gotta get moving! But gods gods I don’t want to. :p
What are you up to today?

Honestly, I gotta get moving! But gods gods I don’t want to. :p
What are you up to today?

It’s a salsa-flamenco cross-over and wildly urban worldmusicy. Whatever that is. There will be dancing.
What should I wear?
Hey why not post a picture of what you have in mind? ;-)
Do you wear (a lot of) make-up?
Any standards? (Like you always use mascara or something…)
Any no-go’s? (Like you never wear lipstick or something…)
How do you feel about make-up?
Nice answers to the funeral marches. Thank you for those. Maybe we could extend it a little?
What song do you feel should have (been) played at your birth?
A hopeful diddy? A solemn hymn? Any prophecies? ;-)
Now don’t you all come with “A Star is Born”! :D
Ah… Love Schmove… Next question!
Inspired by Flo’s answer to Simon’s question (in turn inspired by mudlark’s question):
If you could pick one (1) piece of music to be played at your funeral/cremation/scattering-of-ashes/burial-mound/plunging-of-body-into-the-ocean/evaporation/memorial/some-kind-of-bye-bye-birdie, what would it be?

Noooo, I don’t think Foreigner is love! Argh, you literal-minded people… :p
I have been asked to write a short bio of/for my friend R because there will be a press release for his photo exhibition. Funny thing because he wasn’t a photographer until he bought a camera about two years ago. He just has a good eye for these things, apparently. Before this he did all kinds of odd jobs, never finished a real education, and he is currently the caretaker of our building. He’s an interesting guy in itself and he can make pictures alright – but his life’s story is hardly bio material, so to speak. So that is actually a nice assignment for me! Melikes a challenge.
Could you write a (fictional!) short bio for the person who posted before you?
An example of a bio: “RR was born the son of a modern composer and a flamenco dancer. He received his degree in computing science at the University of Aruba. Shortly after that he decided his real passion in life was giraffes. Following in his father’s footsteps he trained as a musician in Vienna, specialising in flamenco guitar. He graduated in 2001 with a stunning flamenco performance about giraffes at the Musikverein, to much critical acclaim. RR currently resides in Antwerp where he is the artistic leader of a band of circus artists who travel the festival circuit.”
Oh and the first to answer can start with me. :)
