The last one! We’ve been to Amsterdam, Madeira, Utah and Japan. The last one: from my own window. :) Here’s the vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A40EDiOHDrM
This has been a very fun goal and probably the silliest ever. Thanks everyone for joining in the fun and cheering me on. It has been great. And now it is good that I’m finally closing it off. Carrying around gummy bears in a little tin is sure to affect one’s personality. (I hate to think what throwing them off high places does to one’s karma.)

With the help of a Wee Minion of my own, I have managed to get rid of gummy bear no. 42! Here he is, facing his destiny.
Only one more to go!
Want to see his final moments? Check them out on YouTube. :)

Another unlucky customer didn’t make it until the end of the boat trip we made in Hagi. But: he went down with some genuine Japanese folk songs in the background! Check out the video.
I am sorry, I don’t have a picture, only the video. :)

Yes, progress was made on this goal! This unlucky gummy bear travelled with me to Japan where he got too close to the edge of the bridge in Nagasaki. You can see his last moments on YouTube. (Yeah yeah the image is tilted. I found out too late and now I’m lazy. Deal with it. :D)

Unfortunately the real 39th gummy bear, thrown off the Rundetaarn in Copenhagen, is somehow deleted from my memory card. So this will be 39 instead: thrown in the arrivals hall of Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup). Byeee! (I heard him fall, he may have landed quite near someone…)

That in the background is the posh Amstel Hotel, featured before on this gummy bear series.
Those in the foreground are two very very unlucky gummy bears indeed. For the water was cold.

Clinging on to the monument at the Afsluitdijk will not save this little fellow.

Looking over the IJsselmeer just off the Afsluitdijk, this slightly oversized sugarcoated gummy bear is preparing to meet its destiny.

On the other side of the bridge is the Amstel Hotel, where prominent guests like famous musicians usually stay. It also has a good bar downstairs where you can sit quietly drinking a glass of port wine brought to you by a very proper and friendly waiter. It is just one of those things one enjoys once in a while. Just a tip for when you’re ever in Amsterdam.
