learn to ski

The paperwork warning you to line up your equipment before your first class starts has arrived, and thus my re-registration for ski lessons at Snoqualmie is official. Here’s hoping we continue to get snow, so that things can go somewhat better than last year.

This will be a familiar one to many friends. I intended to take skiing lessons this past winter, but we got a very light winter and they were basically scrubbed.

Snoqualmie has informed me (in fact, I got another postcard in the mail just today) that they’re carrying over the class to next year automatically, and I just need to contact them in August about specifics. Also, I found references to www.minimountain.com, which has an indoor skiing range (a slope on rollers that rolls as fast as you ski so you stay in place) and offers out-of-season lessons.
