go to university

I send my application off yesterday. The university does not take students for the winter session in my faculty so I applied for fall. I am enrolled in open studies and will take one course in the winter. This is all very exciting. It only occurred to me this morning that I may not be accepted but I have back up plans.

I have decided after many years of thinking to go to university. Mostly I did not want to because I was worried what kind of job I could get (or not get) with a Sociology degree. I am excited that I have decided to just do it. The worst that will happen is that I will be in the exact same job at the end of it and that is really not so bad. At least I will come out of it with a degree. That is something. I am going to apply today and hopefully get in for winter session.
