Ohhhhhh dear!
I MUST put this on my radar!!
Hubby still hasn’t washed my blanket (so I had to) yet here I am considering finally making this for him. I hope to finish his blanket by Christmas and since the material is sitting right behind me, I have a great shot at actually getting it done this time around…
I told D if he took my blanket & washed it I would start his that very same day. I’m gambling on this one because I’m not feeling up to it but I kind of doubt he’ll get around to washing that thing anytime soon so maybe I’ll have a reprieve?
Note to self: To make the tying look even, tie every other one, all the way around the blanket, then flip the blanket over to the back and tie the rest. That way neither side is really the front or the back!
Hubby asked for his own blanket! I’m going to try and make him one for Christmas – shhhhhh! I’ll have to figure out the logistics of how to make it without him knowing it’s for him… Plus I should hint around about colors. How can I possibly pull this off?
I’ve gotta get the material in the near future! Remember to cut a coupon for JoAnn Fabric. Maybe I’ll be lazy & buy it online? Hmmm… I found the 2 materials I’d be interested in & if I have a coupon all the better for cost!
Pastel Multi Size Dots Blizzard Fleece (Regular Price: $9.99) and the Ultra Cuddle Light Blue (Sale Price: $4.99). I’d rather find the dot pattern cheaper so we’ll see.
EDIT: I got a 40% off coupon in my email – that’s some good ju-ju!!
She’s provided very specific instructions as to her color choices. Light blue, lavender or light purple with stripes or polka dots. She knows I like to make one side patterned & the other a solid – bless her heart! This now goes back onto my 43T list of to do’s!
