Kitesurfing looks like sooo much fun.
I’m kind of wary because I heard a horror story from a guy who had a friend that died doing this… Apparently he was warned that there were unsafe wind conditions, but he went out anyways. A strong erratic wind switched directions or something and the guy was blown into a nearby parking lot and smashed into a car…
Not the happiest tale, so I’m kind of hanging back looking into this (plus it’s winter time and the pacific is COLDDDD). But I suppose anything can be dangerous if you ignore condition warnings. Nature isn’t forgiving.
