The Shops – India Knight.
To be honest I didn’t think I’d like this book but I actually really enjoyed it, ok most of the things are of no use to me as I’m nowhere near London but Knight is a great writer and she’s certainly given me food for thought for future (as in Xmas) shopping trips.

78. Charm School – Anne Fine.

77. Housewife Down – Alison Penton Harper
Weak, that’s probably the best word I can think of for this book, it left me feeling nothing, nothing for the story, nothing for the character, the only reason I kept on reading it was that I was on holiday and had nothing else to read!

76. The Reading Group – Elizabeth Noble.
An enjoyable read with believable characters.

75. My Best Friend’s Girl – Dorothy Koomson
I absolutely loved this book, I think the fact that I saw so much of myself in Ryn helped. This is a moving story that should have you reaching for the tissues but glad that you read it. Now I want to read all Koomson’s other books to see if this was a one of or all of her books are just as good.

74. A Place Called Here – Cecelia Ahern.
Hmmm I think I enjoyed this one but I’m actually still not too sure. I didn’t enjoy it as much as her previous 3 books.

73. Bad Girls – Jacqueline Wilson.
Big one has always been a Ms Wilson fan and now wee one is showing an interest so we read this one together. The book dealt a lot with kids being different, bullying and not always judging people by how they look…a good theme and hopefully some young girl will have read this and learnt something and now someone else no longer gets bullied. We can live in hope.

71. Embraced by the Light. What happens when you die? – Betty. J. Eadie.
An interesting read but I’m still not convinced about the whole heaven thing.

72. Hannah’s Gift. Lessons From a Life Fully Lived – Maria Housden.
Cry? Yes I sobbed and sobbed and held my wee one’s to me that little bit tighter.
