co-op has stopped handing out plastic bags…yeah!!!
I have enough bags now to do a quick local shop but I still need more to do my big supermarket shop.

knitting a bag out of plastic bags. Seems like a good idea to me, instead of having them sitting here looking at me they could actually be serving a purpose and hopefully lasting longer as a useable bag than ripping as a single bag.

I'm still lagging behing on this goal  — 6 months ago

but thanks to all the great swaps I keep signing up for on Craftster I’ve now accumulated a number of bags so I figure if I can just knuckle down and make myself 4-5 bags I can call this goal complete as I will be able to go shopping knowing that I won’t need a single plastic bag.

My plastic bag backlog is nearly depleted  — 11 months ago

so I really need to crack on with this goal and get some bags made up. :/ Truth is I’m scared to get out my new sewing machine and get going, have to overcome that fear…have to..have to..have to!
