learn Russian

I’m going to try to begin working on learning Russian before July – when I am taking only one class instead of two – but sadly, it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. Argh!

I think I’m going to make some flash cards for letters of the Russian alphabet to help me along. That way, I can take them with me and learn the letters little by little and build on the grammar I’m learning online.

I’m having trouble making time to take the online lessons at LiveMocha, so the going is slow right now! It was probably a bad idea to begin this while still in grad school! I would like to devote thirty minutes to language learning a day, but it’s just not happening right now. Shame!

I’ve discovered that I love Russian authors, and so it caused me to want to learn the language. I signed up on Live Mocha and began learning simple phrases last night!
