I’ve finally started to take driving lessons! It’s quite scary at the start, because the instructor took me straight out on the road and I found it quite confusing changing the gears and doing the clutch thing without making the car jerk forward. We were practicing hill starts in the last lesson and now we’re moving on to three point turns. I’m going to start pushing to get insurance on my mums car, because I booked my test around Christmas, so I should be called for it by the end of summer.

I found out that my parents told my brother that they would pay for him to have driving lessons, even though he is two years younger than me and I have been begging for them for years.
Well at least I get lessons now as well. I’ve booked my test as well, so now to find a teacher, and wait 185 days to 2 years or whatever the bloody waiting list is.

My plan for this weekend is as follows.
Do my Fortran assignment, and hopefully maths assignment before Friday, then get my Dad to teach me to drive.
Better start nagging him now
