Slow going 3 years ago

I have lost 1 lb in the past two weeks. I sprained my ankle last Thursday so haven’t been able to exercise at all. Well slow and steady, at least it’s going in the right direction.



Good Start 3 years ago

I weighed myself this morning and I have lost 3 lbs this week. I have done 3 walks of over 7 miles each this week, so if I can keep this up I will be really pleased. I am determined to stick to the diet this time.



Starting again 3 years ago

Well after 5 weeks on holiday in Malaysia and Australia, I have put on another 6 pounds. After all we ate and drank I am just so pleased it wasn’t more. So the diet starts again in earnest.
I weighed myself this morning and shall weigh in each Monday. I have 1 stone 2 lbs to lose.



Finally back on track 3 years ago

I have started the GL diet this week. This is one step on from the GI diet and I have lost 2 lbs! I am so pleased and this is just the incentive I needed to keep going. I was getting rather despondent cos the Slimming World diet, on which I had done so well, just didnt seem to be working for me this time round.

Well its 2 weeks since I restarted the diet. I put back on the pound I lost, but I am now seriously following the Slimming World eating plan. I did an 8 mile walk this morning and have another one booked in for Thursday so I hope all this exercise will help get the weight moving. We are going to a wedding on 25th Feb. ao I want to 7lbs by then.



Lost a pound! 3 years ago

Well as my entry went on the comment for last week I had better do it again. I lost a pound this week despite the 2 scrumpy jack ciders at the meet on Saturday (and the fish and chips on Friday night cos I was too knackered to cook). We have been doing up a house and I was given the painting to do, so that combined with the walks could have helped the weightloss. Back to serious dieting this week.

Well after sort of giving up before Christmas I am now back on the diet again. Needless to say I now have more to lose…exactly one stone. I have decided rather than go to a club, I will weigh myself every week and put £5 in a jar every time I have lost weight. This can be used by me on whatever treat I wish. So the diet started today and I kick started it with a 10 mile power walk. I have another one booked with a friend for Tuesday.
I shall NOT be eating the cheesy chips at the meet on Saturday.



Losing steadily 4 years ago

I was in Ireland visiting an old college friend last week, so was expecting a gain when I weighed in on Thursday. I was really pleased to find I had lost half a pound. I know it’s not much but it’s coming off slowly. I have now lost 9 lbs, only another 11 lbs to go and I am at Target.



Forgetting to add my entries 4 years ago

I keep forgetting to put my entries on here. I stayed the same last week; don’t know why I didn’t lose cos I had been good.I am getting weighed on Wed. this week so one day less. I am hoping that my weight loss will show this week cos I am off to Ireland for a few days to stay with a friend and have no control over what we eat. I need the boost of a weightloss to stick to the diet whilst I am there .

Just realised I didn’t add last week’s weigh in…and i LOST 1 1/2 lbs. Keeping my fingers crossed for the weigh in tomorrow. I need to lose 1/2 lb to make it the half stone off and to take me down to the next stone.
