I need to pass comps!!! I have to take it by the last week in June.
So subgoal:
Study for comps at least 4 hours a week for April… 10 hours a week in May… 15-25 hours a week in June (when I will not have a job anymore)...
What’s Done:
-finish my EdS coursework
-turn in my program of study
-fulfill my residency requirements
-Dissertation data collected
What’s Left:
-Appic internship (or 2nd yr)
-Get Ed.S.
-Dissertation Committee
-Dissertation Proposal
~drafted
~re-writes
~defended
-Dissertation Defense
-Take Comps
-Quantitative Research Certificate
As of today, I finished my EdS coursework (except, of course, for the internship class… which doesn’t count). So… YAY! I also turned in my program of study, although I have to change it very soon. At least it’s turned in though. They’re small steps, but they’re taken.
So this is going to be a very busy year. This is the year I:
-finish my EdS coursework
-turn in my program of study
-finish my PhD coursework
-take comps (the EPPP)
-fulfill my residency requirements
-finish and submit my pre-dissertation project
-begin my dissertation, which involves
~ finding a topic
~ writing a proposal
~ defending the proposal
~ getting IRB approval
~ finding a school to work with
~ collecting data
~ analyzing data
~ finishing the dissertation draft
~ defending the dissertation
