Have you two checked out meetup.com?
It seems to have a set of tools for organising exactly what you two’re about organising. If you go this route, you’ll need to request those of us who are interested in the meetup to register at meetup.com and to join the European 43Things group.
Meetup.com is a much better tool for this sort of task than the nested commentaries here. Pity 43People hasn’t this sort of ‘group’ function …
