but I have been to a few new ones. Took a road trip from NC to Missouri with my boyfriend (he’s from MO). We stopped in St. Louis on the way and this was during the flooding in July. We stayed with his parents and I had a blast. He took me on my first “back-roading” trip, I thought I knew what gravel roads were but I had no idea. In MO they go on for miles and miles and miles. He’s promised me a float trip next time, can’t wait.

Also over the summer we had several “mini” adventures including a weekend at Myrtle Beach, I rented a cabin on Lake Hickory for his birthday weekend and we had the most awesome time there, recently we went to Boone to see an App. game, an MSI (LOVE them) concert in Charlotte, and camping on the new river (the NC side).

Now I just have to save up money because I’d like to take a trip to anywhere tropical sometime this winter.

I’m going to VA this weekend camping with my church youth group. Wish me luck, I have only been to VA once and I don’t really remember it! But I do love camping!

many US states, including my two favorites: Alaska and Hawaii. Being in Hawaii almost felt like being in Japan. Many Japanese vacation there (it is a shorter flight for them than it was for me!).

I have only been outside the US once, to the Bahamas (if that really even counts). There are many other beautiful, interesting countries that I would love to someday visit. I would also love to spend more time in Alaska (truely the last frontier). Looks like it’s time to start the vacation fund!
