Robin and I hiked Cascade and Porter Mountains today, starting our adventure at about 7:30am on May 18, 2013, and reaching the summit of Cascade at about 9:45am. The climb up was strenuous but taking frequent breaks allowed for us to make decent time up the mountain. The views were utterly spectacular. We learned that Porter Mountain wasn’t far away, and so since we’d gone most of the way up already we figured we had to give that one a shot.
We have no plans to do all 46, but we’ll definitely try another peak sometime in the future. Go us!
