Build a house

This was quite stressful, sometimes miserable and very seldom happy or fun. It was six months of constant phone calls, numerous problems, incompetent people and stress with my husband. Since we signed the papers that make us poor for the next 30 years, I have been smiling from ear to ear! Yes it was worth it.

Today we finally settled on our new house! Hooray! Now we are officially homeowners and officially in debt for the next 30 years, but we are very happy!

This REALLY should be it!!!!!

Now we are scheduled to close on Wednesday. We’ll see!

Too many things weren’t completed so we refused to close on the house. Hopefully they will complete their end of the deal soon because overall the house looks incredible!

Closing is moved to Monday. Our realtor and building inspector are not available on Friday. At least this change was our fault.

Next Friday at 9AM. Hopefully, it will actually happen this time.

The realtor called today and we may be closing next week!!!!

There is no closing date yet, but the tile and hardwood floors are installed and look great. The deck is built. The cement patio was poured and is drying. The gutters were installed. All of the fixtures and appliances are in the house. Many of the speakers for the house sound system are installed.
Major things that need to be completed include the walls all need a final coat of paint, the vanities, toilets, fixtures, fireplace and appliances need installed, the steps to the front door need to be built and the driveway needs to be paved.
I think that a closing date may be on the horizon!
