48. Day of Fire CD
49. Wallet
50. Jewelry

Halfway there. I found this site listia.com. It reminds me of bookmooch, the way you can get rid of stuff quick—but then it seems hard to get anything in return. (There are these waist high Levi shorts on there right now, just my size, like I’ve wanted forever but don’t think I’ll have enough credit things for! It’s sad ‘cause I’ve been looking all summer for some.) At least it helps me get rid of stuff quick (unlike I can do with amazon or ebay for a lot of stuff) while feeling that I’m getting something in return.

#44 - 46.

I started this goal before this past semester started, and now that it’s over I’m still not halfway finished… I should start working on this. It’s just that I can’t think of what else to get rid of… it’s all nick-nack type stuff now.

Okay, and books. All my books.

This is really challenging me as to what I really need in my life and what isn’t important. It’s this whole battle of, I like this, but do I need it? Emotional attachment, man.

I suppose I could go battle my childhood toys. I’ve been meaning to get rid of some of that stuff for a while now. And I have some pricey little dolls. (Never invest a lot of money into your kids’ toys. They’re just gunna rip out their hair and let the dog gnaw their limbs off. {True story.}) Sometimes it feels like I’m getting rid of my childhood. Like yard sale-ing all my barbies (Barbies: awful unrealistic body image things.) last summer. But I got over that quite quickly.

Stuff I got rid of before leaving the dorms: (I’m combining some of them ‘cause I feel like they aren’t worth a whole numba.)

44. Perfume, earrings, headband, nail polish.
45. LOADS of stupid useless school papers.
46. Couple stacks of clothes.

Things to get rid of:
  1. Notebooks I’m never gunna use.
  2. Books I’ve read.
  3. Kid me stuff.
  4. Lotions! (I have three or four I don’t use floating around…)
  5. CDs. I never even look at them, don’t need to play them… don’t even really like the bands anymore.
  6. School supplies I never use.
  7. Container-y things that take up more room than they’re worth.

Ohhh

I haven’t worked on this in a long time. I’ve gotten some new clothes since I started this, so I’ll pr’ally clean out my closet again. Plus I have more and more piles of papers floating around. Ahh, college, so kind to the trees. Let me think… I have gifted off a few items lately, haven’t I?

41. Fuzzy slippers
42. Body spray
43. Hoodie

40. PJ pants

I feel like I’m cheating with all these books. But the shelves are starting to show some space. If just a little. They aren’t quite as crammed. Have room to breathe. (The library is having a book sale.)

I can’t think of what else I have to give away. It’s hard living with four other people, differentiating what’s whos. I have to get going at this.
