i left all of my plants at my dorm during xmas vacation.
so..
they are ALL DEAD.
except for my big cane plant..
my mom is going to let me re-plant some of the plants we have at my house.. and then bring them to the dorms.. so then i can start from scratch. i was doing really good before xmas break.. :[

I have a HUGE plant now. It’s called a CAIN.. something or other.. and it’s beautiful.. and LARGE.
So I really need to take care of this one. It would be so sad to see this one die before my eyes. So far, so good. I also have a new Burgundy Fisca.. It has rubber like leaves.. and is also quite beautiful.
I have five plants in my room, and I remember to water them.. and do everything—- so far, I have none that are wilting or crying for attention or anything. I certainly hope this status clings.

Today I noticed one of my plants wilting slightly. It hadn’t been watered for very long. My mom moved it off of the kitchen table and smothered it in this little pile of books and other large plants. It was not happy in this area. So, I found it today and watered and put it back on the kitchen table. It’s already perking up. :D
The picture is what it kind of looks like. Not an exact replica. It has a longer stem.. and fewer leaves. But I believe it’s from the same family. It’s a Red Splash Something or Other.

I”m thinking about combining two plants.. and putting them in one pot. They aren’t the same kind though, so I’m a bit worried they won’t like one another.. and will just give up on life. Hm, we’ll see.

i’m proud of most of my plants, but one. it doesn’t seem to want to cooperate much. not completely dead, but not completely living either. i will fight for it’s life though.. and try keep it alive for as long as possible. my lucky bamboo is rockin! it’s growing and growing.. and very easy to take care of. I definitely recommend the lucky bamboo plant for anyone that wants a plant to take care of without much fuss.
plus, the one i have is in a group of three—which is supposed to bring happiness. :] group of 5 = health… group of 6 = wealth. so, if anyone needs help in those areas go get a lucky bamboo! :]
