I stored these cat carriers in the trunk of my car up until now, but I had to bring them in the apt the other day to make some room, & the cats lovelovelove sleeping in them. I think they’ve been sleeping in shifts to make sure I don’t take the carriers away & put them back in the trunk of my car.

...& the right ear is reinfected now. I will use up the rest of the meds and see if that clears it up for good. Otherwise we will be returning to the vet…

It’s only the left ear this time. I will begin retreatment today with the leftover meds.

Turns out I did manage to eradicate the earmites in my one cat by using mineral oil in her ears, but I caused a bacterial infection in the process. So more ear drops and she should be all better in a couple weeks. Fingers crossed!

I also learned if your cat pukes from eating too fast, a good solution is to put golf balls in her food so she has to eat around them and it slows her down. Also if you find Frontline/Advantage flea treatments have stopped working, try Revolution. Will do.

Day one of the ear mite treatment went better than I expected. Kitty didn’t fight me as much as I thought she would and it didn’t take long. Looking forward to taking care of these little buggers once and for all!
