Catalog my books with librarything

That gives me a little less than 365 days to completely catalog my library!

I already have entered all the books at my apartment. The books at my mother’s and the books at my father’s are all I have left.

I’m going to need to scan quite a few covers as well.

I’ve done a couple of stacks so far. I really like that you get to choose which edition of the book you have, but I don’t like the fact that I have to scan my covers in if I have an older or rarer edition. That isn’t really Library Thing’s fault though; I’m just lazy.

I collect strange books. If I’m in a used book store and I come across a chemistry textbook for cosmetology students, I have to buy it. (I really own that book, by the way. It’s great.) So I really like that Library Thing lets you add books manually if you can’t find them anywhere online.

Also, there’s a comment section, which I’ve been using to record how I ended up with the book and how much I paid for it.
