So, I’m tonight I ran .35 miles. I know it’s not much for those people who are probably healthier and better at running but it took all I had to get there…..Does anyone else have problems with their calve muscles hurting while running? I didn’t stretch very long but I checked another site and it said that running on your tiptoes could cause it. I run like they suggest, though, with my heel touching first and then rolling to the front. Just wondered if anyone knew. I think I could run longer if my calves didn’t hurt so bad….

So, to be honest I don’t think I’ve ever ran one mile before because I HATE running but I am going to do this! My goal is to be able to run 2 miles by April 1. That means I need to be able to run 1/2 mile by July 1. I started today and boy am I out of shape! I’ve been consulting some running websites too to make sure I’m getting on a good start. Any advice for those of us who are going to have to take baby steps to get to 2 miles?
