Yesterday I met up with the guy who I contacted from craigslist, and he bought my ticket for a friend of his who wants to go. I got almost the face value for the ticket. With fees & shipping I lost a little more, but I still got about 90% of what I paid for the ticket. That’s a relief- I thought that I could sell it, but you never know for sure.
So… I’m giving up on this goal. I know that there were a lot of 43ers who wanted to go this year who weren’t able to for various reasons. Maybe we can try again next year.
Edit: How do you give up on a goal anymore? It used to be easy to do, but I can’t find it now.
Edit PS- Found it. You have to click on “remove,” which doesn’t seem right at all. Then you are given the option of either removing the goal completely or giving up on it.

found someone in town interested in buying my ticket. Hopefully we can meet over the weekend and I’ll get rid of it without much of a loss.

I’ve replied to 3 people on craigslist in the Denver area who were looking for tickets, but I haven’t even received an acknowledgement from any of them.
I’ll go ahead & just list the ticket myself if I don’t get any responses by tomorrow.

it looks like attending this year isn’t going to work out :(
I’ve got a ticket for sale if anyone is looking for one.

interested in going to Burning Man since first reading about it on 43T almost 3 years ago. It would be great to attend while some of the 43ers that I know are going to be there, so I’m going to try to make it this year. I don’t have a ticket yet but have already scheduled a week of vacation at that time- at least I know that I have the time available (which could have been the biggest hurdle for me, considering the way that our vacation is scheduled).
