My sister and I met up with Tartsy and her husband for dinner Thursday night, and we had a wonderful time. The food was good and plentiful and conversation was easy and relaxed- it seemed like we had known each other for years. Of course, two of us had ;)
Unlike Tartsy I’ve met quite a few 43ers, probably a couple dozen, and like most of my other experiences I found Tartsy to be just what I expected from our online interactions. Thanks for her and her husband for going out of their way on a work night to meet with us, and I hope to meet up with you both again sometime.
BTW, completing this goal also took me another step forward toward completing another goal, because meeting Tartsy was one of the interesting things that I listed several years ago :)

we’re trying to meet up while I’m on vacation next week. Unfortunately, getting the schedules coordinated has been more complicated than I expected. We’re still trying to find a time and day that we can make this work.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed too, because although we’ve been friends on here almost since I started my account, we’ve never met in RL. Wish us luck! :)
