Document the revival (or dissolution, depending on how things go) of my marriage

I stopped at the credit union, closed down my old joint account, and transferred the money into a new account in my name only.

And no, I didn’t screw her over. There was only something like $127 in there, and I don’t even remember the last time she actually deposited any money in the account.

Looks like I finally have a roommate coming soon!!

officially my 12th anniversary.

I only took my half dose of anti-depressants a couple of times this week.

I don’t think that was enough :(

been feeling quite a bit better for several weeks. I cut my anti-depressant dose in half, and was planning on going to the doctor and talking about getting off them altogether.

Now- not so much.

Apparently the happiness was premature.

I had another typical long Friday at work (11 hours), and finally finished up the week after being sick at work for the last 2 days.

This is my first real weekend with my daughter under our “every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday” agreement so by the time I picked her up and got home (a slow drive in Friday rush hour traffic) it was 6 PM. I was exhausted and feeling like shit again.

On the door was a note from the utilities company that they had shut off our electricity. J had agreed to pay the electric bill through the end of June. From the balance due it appears that she is 3 months behind on payments.

Yeah, I was furious.

I tried to take the lemons and make lemonade so I grilled some chicken outside and did a pot of beans on the side burner (our stove is electric too, of course) and opened up a bag of chips and had a little “picnic” on the front porch.

And J borrowed money from someone and got the electricity turned back on around 9 PM.

But I was (and am) still pretty damn pissed off.

got home after being gone for 9 days on vacation. I had our daughter with me, so all my wife had to do was her 40 hours of work and get packed, with nobody around to bother her.

Last weekend she did get her few large things (bookcase, dresser, etc.) moved out with the help of a couple of friends- but she sure didn’t get much done besides that! When I called her before I headed home she told me that she “wasn’t as productive as she expected” last week. Gee, what a surprise! She never did finish painting our daughter’s room that she started when we were on vacation 3 or 4 years ago.

Tonight she and my ex-wife are packing up my daughter’s room. Does that qualify for a Jerry Springer appearance yet? ;)

I believe that I’ve finally found a roommate _{and more}!! :)

was supposed to be moving out today.

She just finally started really packing last night.

This is going to be a longer process that I had thought. I’m ready to move on.

Face it, J, it’s been over for years. We just wouldn’t admit it.

a fairly long entry written for this goal and was just proofreading it before I posted it- and the power went out!!

Maybe that’s a sign to go to bed before midnight for once ;)
