get a flickr pro account

that I got for giving gift subs ran out several months ago. But today I finally broke down and sprang for the full year’s subscription for myself. This goal is completed.

Now I suppose that I ought to post a few pics again- it’s been over a year since I uploaded a new public photo!

did this by default- because now, when you give a flickr pro account as a gift, you get 3 months free for yourself- and I gave two gifts for Christmas.

But I won’t consider this goal as completed until I pay for a year for myself.

because what I really wanted on flickr was to be able to have subfolders of photos- you know, to have a folder titled “2007,” but then be able to put “43T Vegas trip” as a subfolder within there. It wasn’t possible, so I didn’t bother with the pro account before.

A few weeks ago, though, my friend Mandy said that it can be done with the pro acccount now.

So I need to sign up. $25 for a year is pretty cheap!
