get a job i love

...and left me here. But I have a job I now love and enjoy doing.

my interview is tomorrow at 9am. EEK!
i also have to do a written test (letter writing etc) at 12.30pm.
hope it all goes well. if not, the experience of going for a “junior management interview” will be invaluable i’m sure.

Had to give a form to my Personnel detailing my current role in work to submit to my interview panel. Oh boy… I got such a mediocre rating from my Personnel I considered not handing it in at all but as the deadline was looming I handed it in anyway. I did well in the aptitude test so hopefully I can win them over in the interview and they won’t rely too heavily on this abysmal report.

I did write an email to my Union about the report as I felt it was really unfair and if my work is so MOR why has no one pointed this out to me before now?

Speaking to another colleague later on, she said she has also been mailing the Union about some issues she’s been having with Personnel/senior members of staff.

The Union are now calling a meeting with senior staff to see what the story is in the office cause apparently we’re not the only ones who feel this office is absolutely SHIT.

Thank God for the Union.

got a letter to attend for an inerview and “skills exam” on Jan 23. This is for a position I did an aptitude test for over 18months ago… so they’re a little slow on the uptake but this job is something I would LOVE to do so hope it all goes well.

I absolutely hate my current job. Every night I feel sick and anxious about heading back into the office the next morning. On the way to work I pray for some disaster to happen so that I don’t have to go in. I have actively sought out tranfers to other departments I feel I would be happier in but Personnel refuse to release me. I’ll keep looking, try keep my head up and hopefully my dream job is just a CV away. :)
