Yay! During the week of 7/30-8/3 I walked 40.27 miles on my treadmill, burning 3,739 calories!
I hope to have continued success although there will be a break in the 40 mile per week goal when my husband arrives this Tuesday. This is due to my taking a short holiday with him and going to visit some family. However, we’ve a lot of fun and active activities planned. We’ll go swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, playing tennis, volleyball and such during that time so should be getting some forms of exercise just not treadmill.
Upon, the conclusion of my three week holiday I will be starting a new healthy lifestyle and routine with my husband, which will include daily use of the treadmill or other physical activities. It will also include some added strength training as my husband and I are going to look into buying a strength training machine during our holiday.
It will be so wonderful to finally be settled down and living together. It is my hope that now that our moving is done we can get a healthier eating, sleeping, and exercise routine and through having his support I will be able to shed some of the excees weight I’ve gained during our years apart. I feel that the enormous stress relief of having immigration sorted and living together in one residence will impact my health in a positive manner.
These past two years have been difficult ones and it’s great to know we’ll finally be able to settle down and work towards our goals together, with one anothers support! Life is good and I couldn’t be happier :-)
