i started. yesterday.
it’s not much, but it’s a start. i’m trying to get some ideas down in an organized manner. i have most of what i wanted to say written down.
the hardest thing is remembering bits and pieces of songs that have been floating around in my head for a few years. they don’t seem to be as clear as they once were, and aren’t as orderly either. maybe they’ll come into focus with some more work and practice.
also played guitar a little bit. i don’t think i’m nearly as shitty of a guitar player as i thought i was. maybe that period of being sequestered with a metronome payed off. i’m rusty, and can tell right away what i need to work on, but it doesn’t sounds half bad, and it’s kind of fun. i found some old semi relevant picture of my guitar and amp. i think i’ll post those. ramble ramble.
wait…no. that’s all wrong. i started last week. i remember because i tried to open reason, and it started sassing me. i was going to put down some drum tracks, but i couldn’t and still can’t. reason sucks. for not cooperating.
