completed!

for a while at least. i really badly need a hair cut. only about an inch or so, but that one inch is affecting the rest of my hair and knotting it up so i’m going to get it cut, probably in a couple of weeks time, when i get round to booking an appointment…

but my hair will then grow again and be waist length again, just nicer!

very very worth it, it’s so exciting seeing how your hair changes through the lengths.

ACHIEVED! [kind of]

My hair is at waist length. However, I still have some layers in my hair meaning it’s not all that length. Also, my hair’s curly and so looks a lottt shorter. Nevertheless, I feel proud that I’ve managed to achieve this, and I can now go into 2008 with waist length hair. :)

Next year I plan to trim 1 or 2 inches off in january/february to even out the layers and have fresh ends. Then I’m going to get it curly at waist length and maintain it there for a while.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Grrr !

My hair has drastically slowed down in terms of growth.

I still haven’t cut (it’s been almost 11 months now) and it’s currently 28.6”. There are a couple of things which I think might have caused this:

- It’s winter now which means slower growth
- Many people report that their hair stops growing when it reaches waist length, so perhaps my waist is higher than I thought and I’ve already reached my goal?

But nevertheless, I’m just going to keep with it and wait it out. After I’ve reached the elusive milestone of 31” I’m still going to have another few inches to grow (at least) before my hair is waist length when curly (not stretched out). After that I want to cut out my layers as they are so annoying in updos!

That should take me well into the next year! HA!

27.7"

on 2nd august. At this rate I will have waist length hair (only the longest layer and when stretched) by november. YAY!

After that I plan to keep this goal and in january get 1” cut off (so I’ll be back to my november length in january) the longest layer so that my hair and layers are more even. I’ll also get it shaped into a more visible “V” shape. I might get a new fringe as well.

It’s good growth for 4 months I think.

Measurements

My hair currently measures 26.5” pulled straight and my waist is around 31”. So in about half a year I should be at waist length when pulled straight – then I just need to carry on growing until it’s waist length and curly!

I am not cutting my hair until atleast next January.
