I have read Leviticus, 1 and 2 Samuel, Exodus, Joshua, Judges, 1 and 2 Chronicles, Numbers in the last week. I am in the middle of Ezra, right now. I read a few other books, like Genesis, a few months ago.

I was afraid that this would be boring, but it hasn’t been. I’ve been using a bible with helps, the Daily Walk Bible in a an easy version to read (the New Living Translation). Today, while reading about offerings in Leviticus, I was challenged on making a 21st century offering to God. I haven’t really found one yet, but it got me thinking. I don’t want it to be obvious or attention-getting. Something just between God and me. Because I’ve had conflicts and hard feelings about my church, I’m thinking about a sort of peace offering that no one knows about except me (and God, of course).
I’m jumping around, not exactly following an order. My only rule is to finish one book before starting another.
