learn french

yesterday my grandpa made me speak french to a real french person.

it was terrifying, but i got through it. :D

YESTERDAY I FINISHED FRENCH 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now i don’t have to take it until next year!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAY!!

so here’s the thing…some weeks i have IS FRENCH 3 times and some weeks i have it 2. [a and b day schedule, i’m sure you know what i am talking about.] and well, we’re supposed to get a lesson and a half done in a week, and i got almost two full lessons done TODAY. and that is how fast i usually go…so i’ll probably be done before spring break, and then i won’t have to do any more. i really hope she doesn’t make me take another year of it…or start another year…we’ll see.

so today in independent study, our advisor was yelling at us because we’re not supposed to talk, but she said that we can talk in our language that we’re studying…so my friend brittany decided to tell me this story in french about her old french teacher…and i actually understood it…it was pretty darn cool.

donc aujourd’hui dans la classe d’étude indépendante, notre conseiller hurlait à nous parce que nous ne sommes pas supposés pour parler, mais elle a dit que nous pouvons parler en notre langue que nous étudions…donc mon amie brittany a décidé de dire cette histoire en français de son vieil enseignant français…et j’ai compris en fait…c’était joli repriser cool.

well, i’m ahead in my rosetta stone, and if i finish early, i won’t have time to do another semester of French, so i’ll just get to have a study hall for the rest of the year, so now i’m going to work my BUTT off to finish as soon as i can!!!

yeah. rosetta stone teaches me nothing. i’m supposed to be almost fluent by now.

non. haha. i’m a 3rd year french student, but this year i’m doing an independent study since my new school only offers spanish…i’m not learning a thing, but i still love the lanuage…
