learn reiki

I have been waiting to take a reiki course for well over a year, and in this time have researched it heavily and now feel fairly confident that I know what Im getting into.
A course in a city 3 hours away has opened up, and I feel like this is the time that I am going to learn my reiki. The class isn’t til August, but I’m still pretty excited. Just have to convince my parents to let me drive up there for like 2 days.
It is also a Reiki I-II “intensive” so I will be Okuden by the time i get done with the weekend.

was finally able to get the person that aI might be studying w/ on the phone today, the hard part is just going to be getting to convince my parents that this is good for me. They’re hxc south baptist christians, and I am a christian too, I’m just more open minded I guess and I feel like I am really meant to learn it. I just have to research and know what I’m talking about more so that I would anything else I guess. Have a meeting w/ the teacher in like 2 weeks. EXCITING!!!

any thoughts? ideas? comments?

So far on my reiki journey, I have encountered twist after turn in my quest for attunements, but I think it’s all a plan to get me ready. In mid jan. i was sick and my energy has been drained so much that it hadn’t felt like it completely generated back still by this time a week ago. So i was led to a tai chi instructor. I took one class with her and i feel better than i have since before i got sick!!! And the best part is is that she is giving me the lessons for free!!! I feel like this is God’s way of telling me that I need to work on myself and my own energy before I can start working on other people and their energy centers. and before I have had the worst time trying to get a hold of my potential reiki instructor, but now that this is happening… lets see what happens : )

starting to come together for me. Haha on my birthday no less… at the beginning of the month, I went to a new hair salon in town that uses all natural products, and I started talking to the person who cut my hair. She told me that she was a master herself, and the massage therapist who works a couple doors down from her was a master teacher! Now I just have to get in touch with the master teacher and I think I’ll be on the right track.

well the arts fair came and went, i didn’t get to go :( , but there wasn’t even a reiki practitioner there, so i guess it don’t matter anyway, well the search goes on…

My town is having a holistic healing arts fair on the second and third of june. I figured any holistic arts fair has GOT to have some kind of Reiki type thing there. I consulted the runes on reiki and the healing arts fair and I got the breakthrough rune (or some rune to that effect, it’s kinda like an hourglass on its side, not sure of the name, but that’s pretty much what it means at least). so now more than ever, i think that the universe is pulling for this to happen. and if it’s really meant to be, I’ll have the days off too. I hope i do :) I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I want to learn reiki more than anything right now. I’m hoping this will be my “breakthrough”

So I’m looking for a reiki class in my town, but i can’t find any right now. I live in kinda a small town, and there aren’t alot of reiki masters wehre i live.
I emailed the chamber of commerce today to see if they had any information on classes in my area.
Please send reiki to my situation, and send reiki to me finding a reiki master in my small town. I’m very eager to start practicing reiki

Hey, I’m 16, and I recently got interested in different types of eastern medicine healing techniques, and came across reiki.

I use what i think is reiki @ least along with my psi balls.

I don’t know if I’m doing reiki or if I’m just helping people with my energy, but I’ve done a few things, cured muscle aches, relieved pain from severely jammed fingers… nothing big, but now a lot of my friends come to me first if they get hurt or are in pain before they go to the nurse or some other resource. The only problem is, I get severely drained of energy and feel very week after the healing,

someone help me by telling me proper techniques so I don’t feel so drained. and please give me information for the reiki healing arts
