start a career

I finished school and started my own practice that was office based at first. Now I’m working on getting an in-home practice started up, so I guess I’ve started a career, but I have a feeling this isn’t my life-long career just yet.

I’ve decided to brainstorm some more and get a few sample cards made up at Staples. Then after a market poll of sorts I’ll get my first 100 printed. This decision came after chatting with my bf…Boy, do I love that man. His excitment about embossed lettering and textured paper was really catchy. It’s a worth while investment if it gets me more clients. People will hold on to my card and hopefully pass it along. At least I have one design in mind and have a proper e-mail and phone number.

Got the bugger changed today after about 30 minutes in Cingular, but I’m local now! Whoo Hoo… I’ll get the business cards tomorrow at Staples…Work it, girl, work it!

I have 3 prospective clients…a small start is still a start, right?
