it’s really frustrating when you want something to happen fast but it’s just going at this slow and steady pace. I’m only down to 124 but that’s still 4 pounds better than four weeks ago… I guess I’ll have to keep on treking…

So… I’m gonna join this group too because I’ve been trying to do this for a while and getting nowhere. My story is that I’m 21. last year I had my happy and healthy weight of somewhere between 115-120 (I’m 5’6). My husband had the crazy idea to do this diet/lifestyle change thing with me that would have us working out 6 days a week, doign the whole eat 6 small meals a day, etc. I said sure, I like change, and being a girl, I always feel like I can lose weight. BAD idea… Ever since then I’ve gained ten pounds. Problem is at first most of it was muscle and my body fat percentage really dropped so that was good. But because I just saw the numbers on the scale, I got pissed off and just kinda gave up. So now I weight somewhere between 125-130 (I haven’t checked in a while, it just depresses me now) and I want to get back down to 115. I don’t want to starve myself, I don’t want to eat three calories a day. I want to do this the healthy, exercising and eating right way. So here I go…
Also, to bookmonkey, I totally respect the way you’ve been going about try to reach your goal, cuz I’m gonna do it your way to. Good luck, you’re almost there!
