take an art class

I had my last class last night. My teacher hung up all of our work from the past 5 weeks, and talked about how we’d improved. I have gotten so much better! This was such a thrill; I plan to take a drawing class next, and then maybe a more advanced class in oil painting or figure drawing.

I had my first painting class tonight (4 more to go), and it was so much fun. I had 3 whole hours to create, and not think about med school. It was awesome. I’m really proud of myself for actually doing this since I’ve been planning it for almost a year.

I just signed up for a beginner painting class. It starts this week and lasts for 5 weeks. I’m so excited!

Edit: I got bumped to the 2nd session starting 2/13.
